Personal Observations:
When the 5POA Saga Legends and Mission Series lines launched in 2013, there were two very similar, but not identical Anakin Skywalker figures to choose from. The Saga Legends version was the Jedi Anakin, while the Mission Series figure was Anakin after he had joined Darth Sidious and become Darth Vader. As far as I can tell, this Anakin is the same sculpt as the Saga Legends figure. The major difference between the two Anakin's is that this one has red Sith eyes, paler skin, more black on his lightsaber hilt, and for some reason, slightly paler clothes. I think I would have actually preferred it if this Anakin was darker and grimier from his battle on Mustafar, but since this is a low cost line, those kind of paint details might have been too expensive for Hasbro to do on an inexpensive 5POA figure. I like this figure, but not as much as the Jedi Anakin. He has probably the best Episode III Anakin face sculpt ever, but his skin is just too pale. I don't think this figure was a miss. An evil Anakin was necessary, but I think somehow it could have been better. Maybe an angrier face sculpt or a sculpted cloak and hood could have made him look more like a bad guy. Oh well, he is what he is.
