Personal Observations
This guy makes me wish I had the old Kenner AT-AT! The AT-AT Driver is a really nice looking Imperial trooper who was barely seen in the movie, but has been made numerous times in action figure form. This 5POA version looks good, sits well to pilot ships or his AT-AT, and also has an Imperial blaster so he can battle on his own too. I kind of wish that he had been given an updated version of the original Kenner figure's blaster rifle, but since this character is never seen carrying a blaster of any kind in the movie, I guess it shouldn't matter that much. His head can't turn very far because of the the hoses that connect to the box on his chest, but he can look around as much as he needs to for driving an Imperial walker. The hoses also get in the way a bit when he points his blaster as well, but he still can do it if you're willing to let his arm bend a hose. I have a feeling if he were left in a pose like this for a long time, that the hose may become permanently warped, but a short term pose shouldn't cause any damage. But enough grumbling about the hoses, because really there's nothing to grumble about! He's a fine figure, and is definitely a worthy addition to your Imperial forces.
