Personal Observations
This Biker Scout is part of a really great set with Wicket the ewok. Both of them are among the most memorable new characters from Return of the Jedi and their figures do not disappoint. The Biker Scout has a solid sculpt, and at least on my figure, a nice paint job. All of his joints move really nicely and he can hold his little blaster pistol fairly well, but slightly loose. His blaster can also fit in a holster on his boot, but just barely. I don't have a picture above showing this, because I can hardly ever get it to stay! The Biker Scout sits really well and he looks great riding on the old speeder bike from 1983. It's too bad that this speeder bike isn't currently available, because if you have a biker scout, you are going to want a speeder bike. If anything could have made this 5POA figure better, it's not more joints, because remember, this is a 5POA fan site, it's to have a better working holster and possibly a ball jointed neck. When this figure was made, ball jointed necks were rare in the 5POA line. I think only Yoda had one. But as of this writing, they are the standard. I generally think they make human head sculpts look worse, but they work really well with trooper helmets without harming the look. This isn't a complaint. Just looking back in hindsight, it could have been nice. I'm still very happy with this Biker Scout though, and think that he's a great addition to our tiny 5POA Return of the Jedi collection.
