Personal Observations:
Here we have our third Chewie in the 5POA line and our very first porg! This Chewbacca is an all new sculpt from the previous two, as can be seen in the comparison photo above. Out of the three, the figure from The Force Awakens is probably still my favorite, but this one from The Last Jedi is still pretty good. While this Chewie doesn't have a removable bandoleer like the one from The Force Awakens, he does have a lot more paint detail and has an arm bent at the elbow for a bit more of an action pose. Chewbacca's head can only turn a little bit and I'm not really sure if it's actually a swivel joint or a ball joint since the movement is so minimal. The bowcaster is also a new sculpt from the ones carried by the previous Chewie's, and while it looks good, it's very fragile. This blaster is made of three separate pieces that constantly come apart if they are even slightly bumped. This could probably be fixed with a little glue, but it's too bad that this wasn't done at the factory. Lot's of kids are going to be losing the pieces for this blaster. As said earlier, there is a lot of paint detail on this figure. Possibly even too much. I'm not sure which figure is more accurate, but The Force Awakens figure's paint detail just looks better to me. The figure sits perfectly, so he might be able to sit in some vehicles if he isn't too tall. The porg is a cute little figure with no articulation that as of this writing is only available with Chewbacca. There is no Force Link chip in the porg, which I think is too bad. It would be fun to have him make porg sounds when used with the Force Link toy. Overall, this Chewbacca isn't bad, and even if you have the previous ones, you will probably want this one if only for the porg.
