Personal Observations:
For many collectors, Chopper has usually proven to be the most difficult member of the Rebels main cast to find. It took me about a year after his initial release to find him, after The Force Awakens figures had already come to stores. I got lucky! Chopper is a great little droid, with only three points of articulation, and in some ways seems reminiscent of something that we might have seen in the original Kenner line of the 1980's. Not necessarily in his sculpt, but his size and appearance just seem to me to have that classic Star Wars feel that you could find in the original line. I personally can't find any flaws with this figure. He doesn't have the extendable arms that come out of his head like in the TV series that some fans may have wanted to see, but I'm fine with the way he is. A clicking head like the original R2-D2 might have been a nice feature as well, but was not a necessity. He is definitely worth the buy if you can find him. I'm happy my Rebels crew is finally complete! |
