Personal Observations
This is the third Darth Vader figure in the 5POA line after the original figure from 2013 and the animated style Rebels figure. While the 2013 figure is sculpted in a neutral pose and seems more reminiscent of the vintage Kenner figure from 1977, this Rogue One figure looks more like he's angry and ready to attack. This Vader has a really nice looking sculpt and a shiny helmet and armor. Unlike the 2013 figure, his cape is removable this time around, but sadly he can't sit like the older figure can. If you want a Darth Vader figure who can pilot ships, it won't be this one, but if you want the Vader with the better sculpt, this is the one for you. Darth Vader's grip on his lightsaber is a bit loose, so if you have him battling it out with a Jedi with a firm grip on his weapon, Vader is going to lose. He also holds his lightsaber way out to the side, which gives him more of a dynamic pose. This my or may not be a good thing depending on what kind of figure you want. Along with the lightsaber, Darth Vader comes with a projectile firing weapon. This is not the kind of thing that I could ever imagine him using, but maybe some people will like it. Overall, I would say that this figure looks spectacular, but I really wish it had the ability to sit like the older figure.
