Personal Observations:
The Elite Praetorian Guard that came in the BB-8 play set is very similar to the one that came in the two pack with Rey, except he wears a different helmet and carries a different weapon. Apart from that, I think their sculpt is the same, and I believe that the sounds that they make with the Force Link toy are also the same. The figure is still nice to have even if you have the other guard, just because these little changes help set him apart as his own unique character. The bad thing is that if you want him, the only way to get him, as of this writing, is in the BB-8 playset, and that's going to cost more than many families are willing to spend. Like the other guard, he can sit well, but probably won't fit in many vehicles, but unlike the other guard, he is able to lift his arms higher due to having a smaller helmet. This enables him to hold his weapon with both hands so he can be poised to do an overhand strike. Overall, this is a fun figure, but I just wish that he was easier for kids to get!
