Personal Observations
The First Order Stormtrooper is bound to be one of the most popular figures from the initial launch of The Force Awakens line, with many people likely buying multiples. This figure was included as part of the basic line as well as the armor series. Mine is the armor series figure, but as far as I can tell, both figures are the same, only the bonus accessory is different. This Stormtrooper look as nice as you could want him to, and is pretty much identical to the troopers that I have seen in the movie trailers. Personally, I'm still getting used to the helmet design, which I don't like quite as much as the earlier Clone and Stormtroopers, but that may change over time. The Stormtrooper comes with a nicely painted blaster that fits well in either hand and also attaches to the trooper's leg when he isn't using it. His head, like all of the new Force Awakens figures is ball jointed, which gives it a bit, but not a whole lot more range of motion. He can sit, and should be able to fit in some vehicles, but he does sit with a lot more of a lean than I would like. The original trilogy Stormtrooper sits perfectly, and I had hoped that this guy would do the same, but unfortunately that's not the case. Since my Stormtrooper is from the Armor Series, he comes with an unusual looking green piece of armor. This could be fun for creating adventures for your figures for some people, but others probably won't care for it. All in all, the First Order Stormtrooper is good, but if only he could have been able to sit a little better, he would have been just about perfect.
