Personal Observations:
A new TIE Fighter Pilot! Surprisingly, we got a First Order TIE Fighter Pilot before we got the Imperial original trilogy version. That's kind of surprising, but oh well. This First Order pilot is a decent figure that sits perfectly, holds his blaster well, and overall looks, well...okay. For some reason I find this figure to be a little boring and just a little bit odd looking. It's hard to name just what exactly it is that doesn't look right. Is his helmet too small? Is he a little too wide in the hips and the stomach? Maybe it's partly due to the solid black that doesn't bring out the details really well. One thing I really don't like though is that the hose/chest panel are permanently attached. This makes it difficult to turn the head very much without fear of breaking the hose. The Elite TIE Pilot figure with the red stripes on his helmet does have a detachable chest panel, so that's a nice improvement over this figure. Overall, despite all of my complaining, this figure isn't terrible. He does exactly what he is supposed to, fit perfectly inside just about any ship's cockpit. Plus, if you have a good imagination, you should be able to think up many other adventures for him outside of his ship!
