Personal Observations:
I'm actually a bit surprised that we got a new General Hux in the first wave of The Last Jedi line, considering the one from The Force Awakens was available not too long ago. Hux's outfit did not change between the two movies, with the exception of the new figure not wearing a hat, but this is definitely not the same figure as the previous one. When you look at the picture comparing the two, you can see that the new one has a much improved likeness and overall sculpt. The head sculpt on this figure has got to be one of the best yet. Unlike the older Hux figure, this one actually looks like him. Other changes this time around are that his long coat is now a separate piece, rather than being sculpted onto his legs, and his outfit is a much darker black, rather than a dark gray. One really impressive thing about this figure is that if you try, you can remove his coat. With the coat off, Hux not only still looks good, but can sit perfectly as well. This is making me wish Hasbro would redo Han Solo in his Endor trench coat! For anyone who may be thinking that it's too bad that General Hux doesn't have his hat this time around, if you have the older figure, you're in luck! That figure's head fits pretty well on this one, giving you an instant hat wearing General on a superior looking body. This removable coat feature really does make it seem like this is two figures in one. I know there are some fan's, myself included, that have been wanting a figure of General Hux without the coat since they saw The Force Awakens. This figure answers that wish and more! For accessories, General Hux comes with a blaster, that looks similar to the one carried by The Force Awakens figure, and with a First Order Mouse Droid. This Mouse Droid is not the same one that was recently included with Galen Erso. In the photo above, you can see that Galen's droid is darker, and for some reason, has removable side panels. Hux's Mouse Droid is definitely a fun addition to an already great figure though. Overall, this General Hux is a really good figure that I have absolutely no complaints about. If you are a fan of General Hux, get one if you can!
