Personal Observations
Grand Admiral Thrawn has made his way into the 5POA line as one of the few new Rebels figures in the Rogue One line, and as the first figure specifically from the third season of the show. Thrawn is a popular character from the old Star Wars novels, originally appearing in 1991's Heir to the Empire. In Rebels he has been brought back in a similar role, but at an earlier time period. The figure itself looks good, and serves as a much needed commanding officer for the Empire in our Rebels figure collections. The figure includes a small blaster pistol that fits nicely into a holster, as well as a large projectile firing weapon. He looks a little silly holding it because it's so huge, but it could be fun to use it to blast figures. Thrawn can sit, but due to his uniform jacket being long and separate from the legs, I personally wouldn't want to keep him sitting for long to avoid permanently warping the jacket. As of this writing, this figure still seems to be pretty hard to find, and is being listed for high prices in online stores and auction sites. That's a shame, because these figures need to be made easily available to kids for play! I found mine at a small, locally owned toy store for a decent price, and yes, he will be used for play!
