Personal Observations
Hoth Luke Skywalker really is a thing of beauty as far as Star Wars action figures go. He and Han Solo make up what I consider to be the best looking Mission Series pack to date. Luke's sculpt is great, and as far as I can tell, there was no obvious skimping on paint details like there has been on some other recent figures like Commander Bly. Luke comes with his blue lightsaber, which in my case was unfortunately damaged in the package. You can see in some of the pictures that there is a strange flat section midway down the blade. It's disappointing, but it's still usable. Most people won't encounter this problem though, so no worries! It would have been nice if Luke came with a blaster, but since he never actually used one while wearing this outfit, it's understandable. It still would have been nice to have it sculpted in his holster though. Luke sits decently, but with a bit of a lean. The good news is that this won't pose much of a problem for fitting him into vehicles. He sure looks great in that old Kenner Tauntaun doesn't he! I'm actually looking forward to snow so I can take him and his Tauntaun out in their proper environment! The only thing that I don't really like with this figure is the bloody face. I think he would look better without the scratches, but maybe that's just me.
