Personal Observations
To quote Jar Jar Binks, "Master Winmace!" Here is figure number 1 in the Saga Legends line, Jedi Master Mace Windu. He has never exactly been one of my favourite characters due to his grumpy attitude, but his Clone Wars adventure with Jar Jar redeemed him a bit for me. This figure is supposedly based on his appearance in Revenge of the Sith, but wasn't Attack of the Clones the only time we saw him not wearing his dark brown robe? Master Windu is a pretty nice looking toy with a very detailed looking outfit and lightsaber. At first I thought his legs looked a little short, but maybe I'm wrong. His face looks extremely grumpy, but that suits his movie personality well. If you look closely at him, he doesn't have eyebrows. This is an unfortunate oversight, as he did have eyebrows in the movies. On the flip side though, his lightsaber hilt is painted very nicely. He can hold the lightsaber decently with either hand, but the hilt does bump into his long sleeves a bit due to the way his wrists are angled. Mace can sit nicely to pilot vehicles and should be lots of fun to put in battles, lead a Clone Trooper army or discuss lofty matters of the Force with his fellow Jedi Masters. Overall, Mace Windu is a good figure for a low cost, but I still wish he was wearing his brown robe like he was in most scenes in the movies.
