Personal Observations
Moroff is a huge, hairy alien that is part of Saw Gerrera's Rebel splinter group on Jedha. Due to his size and white fur, he almost looks like he could be a Wampa from Hoth, but he is actually a Gigoran. An interesting thing about the two pack that he comes in is that he comes with a Scarif Stormtrooper Squad Leader. Since these are supposed to be "vs" sets, it seems odd that this set comes with two characters that were never on the same planet together. However, in some behind the scenes still photos, you can see Moroff on Scarif, so perhaps his Scarif scenes were cut in the final film. Anyway, the figure is great, and is easily one of my favorites so far in the Rogue One line. Moroff comes with a long blaster rifle as well as a huge backpack with projectile firing attachments. Unlike many of the big pack in accessories in the Rogue One line, Moroff actually does wear this backpack in the movie, although without the blaster cannons mounted to the sides. Moroff can sit, but won't fit in most vehicles due to his size, and despite the long hair on his face, his head does turn a bit. This figure has some dirt details added to his fur, which is a nice touch, as it's unlikely that he could keep his white hair clean for long on dusty Jedha. Overall, Moroff is a fantastic figure! If you like aliens and you want to start building Saw's forces (of which Moroff is the only member as of this writing), you will want to pick up this set. Hey, he comes with a Scarif Stormtrooper too! Bonus!
