Personal Observations:
Finally, Obi-Wan Kenobi from A New Hope has come to the 5POA line! This was one of the characters on my 2017 wishlist, so I'm pretty happy that we actually got him this year. With this figure, Hasbro decided to try something different. Instead of him having straight arms, Obi-Wan has been sculpted with both arms bent at the elbow, allowing him to hold his lightsaber with both hands. It looks great when you pose him holding his weapon, but it can look a little odd otherwise. I'm not really sure which way I would prefer it, straight arm or bent elbow style, but I'm not complaining. This figure has satisfied my Obi-Wan craving. Obi-Wan's head sculpt is good, and there is some nice paint detail in his hair and beard. Most toys just paint his beard a solid gray, but if you watch closely in the movie, you can see that isn't the case. The figure's cloak is made out of a flexible, rubbery plastic, but it still won't allow him to sit. You can, however, fold the hood back if you are careful, but I wouldn't advise doing this too often or it might eventually cause some damage to the hood. Overall, this is an excellent figure, and a very welcome addition to our small but growing collection of 5POA figures from A New Hope.
