Personal Observations
Poe Dameron (Starkiller Base) is one of two completely different figures of Poe to be available on day one of The Force Awakens action figure line launch. This one features Poe out of his pilot uniform wearing a very similar jacket to the one that Finn is wearing. At first glance you may think that both of them might share the same sculpt for their jacket and arms, but surprisingly they don't. Poe's jacket is also made of a stiffer plastic while Finn's feels more like rubber. Poe comes with a blaster rifle that is only slightly different from the one carried by the Resistance Trooper, and since he's from the armor series, he also comes with an armored suit that fits over his head and jacket. Out of all the armor accessories in wave 1, Poe's is my favorite, and should be a lot of fun for kids to play with. The helmet part of the armor fits nicely and somehow reminds me a bit of the style of helmet worn by the original Kenner X-Wing pilot Luke. The jet pack is pretty cool too. I guess Poe doesn't need his X-Wing to fly! Poe sits just about as well as you could want him to, which is a big plus for me, and his ball jointed neck gives his head a nice range of motion. His head sculpt doesn't look as good as it would have if it were a swivel neck like the earlier 5POA figures, but this is about the only complaint I have with this figure.
Update October 2017 - Now that the first batch of figures from The Last Jedi are here, I have noticed that both the Poe from the Resistance Ski Speeder and the pilot version have way better head sculpts than this figure. The Resistance Ski Speeder figure's head fits pretty well on this old figure, so if you want to improve his looks, give it a try!
