Personal Observations:
If you were unhappy with the previous Poe Dameron figures from The Force Awakens, then you will definitely want this one. At a distance, this figure looks pretty similar to some of the other Poe Dameron pilot figures, but when you take a closer look, you can see that this one is vastly superior. One very welcome improvement is that this time around, Poe comes with a removable helmet. There was a Poe from The Force Awakens that came with the X-Wing that had a removable helmet (a figure that I don't own), but this is still a different and much improved figure over that one. Another plus when compared to The Force Awakens pilot figures is that this one does not have a hole in his back. But the most noticeable and welcome improvement for me is the likeness. The head sculpt is amazing. The other Poe figures always did have an odd looking face that didn't really look like the actor, but now in comparison to this figure, the look absolutely horrible. I just wish this head could fit on those figures! Apart from the great looking head, this figure can also sit decently, and for some reason, also comes with swivel wrists. I wonder why, of all the new Episode VIII figures, Hasbro decided that this was the figure that needed articulation in the wrists? The gloves feel kind of rubbery, but can still hold his blaster well. In my opinion, this is the ultimate 5POA (or actually 7POA) Poe Dameron pilot figure, and I can't imagine how it could possibly be improved upon.
