Personal Observations:
A new Princess Leia figure! This is only the third Princess Leia in the 5POA collection since it started in 2013, but this time we get one representing Leia's appearance in Star Wars Rebels. It's surprising that we have a Rebels Leia before getting one from The Force Awakens, but I'm not complaining as I would have wanted this one anyway. This really is a great figure and is a great addition to your Star Wars Rebels collection. As you can see, this animated style Leia has a really nice sculpt, accurate to her appearance in Rebels, which depicts her as wearing an outfit based on pre-1977 concept art by Ralph McQuarrie. This figure includes a Stormtrooper blaster, which Leia can hold pretty well, as well as a zip line accessory for extra play value. I have personally not tried out the zip line, but it looks like it could be a fun toy to have for creating your own Star Wars adventures. Leia can sit just about as well as you can hope for, and because she is small, she should be able to fit easily in most vehicles. My only real complaint about this figure is the paint applications. My figure looks pretty good, but some of the figures that I saw in the store didn't look so great. From what I've seen, I think all of them, including mine, are missing paint on her hair right behind her neck. It's unfortunate, but I can live with it. It certainly is a treat getting classic movie characters in animated form. Now we have R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, some Imperial troops and Leia...bring on Lando!
