Personal Observations:
This is the first Rey figure from The Last Jedi, released on Force Friday, September 1st. She was available both single carded as well as in a two pack with an Elite Praetorian Guard. The one seen here comes from the two pack, but from what I can tell, both figures are the same. Out of all the Rey figures so far, I think that this one is my favorite. Her face sculpt is looks the closest to Rey from the movies, her outfit, paint details and sculpt are really nice, and she comes with four pieces of gear, including a shoulder mounted cannon that works with the Force Link toy. Rey's articulation is pretty good, although with my figure, something is wrong with one of her legs. It's kind of a sticky joint, that when it is moved, it ends up moving back on it's own to the position it was in when she came out of the package. There must be some kind of defect inside with the hinge. It's annoying, and I hope it doesn't cause her leg to eventually break off, but since she can't really sit anyway due to her costume, I don't think I'll be buying a replacement figure anytime soon. Rey can hold all of her weapons well, but when she's wearing the cannon, it will cause her to fall over, due to it being so heavily weighted to one side. As of this writing, I don't have the Force Link toy, so I don't know what the figure says, but hopefully soon enough I will! Like all Force Friday figures that come out long before the movie, it's kind of a strange feeling to own a figure when you know absolutely nothing about what they do in the movie. Who does she battle? Does she stay good? Who knows, but in the meantime, it can be fun using your imagination to have Rey come up with her own original adventures!
