Personal Observations
From the first time that I saw pictures of this figure I thought that he looks great, and now that I have him in hand, he does not disappoint. Saw Gerrera is a battered warrior who first appeared in The Clone Wars, and much to the delight of fans of that series, became one of the first animated series characters to make his way into a live action Star Wars movie. Saw is probably the most detailed figure in the 5POA line to date. If I am remembering correctly, a Hasbro representative once stated that Saw is so detailed that he was too expensive to make as a single carded basic figure, hence the reason for him coming in a four pack. As amazing as he looks, all of the details on Saw do limit his poseability. Due to his shoulder armor, he can't lift his left arm very high, and because of his cape, he can't really sit down. To be fair, we didn't see Saw involved in any intense action in the movie. Due to his poor health, I don't think he could exert himself too much without it being fatal. Saw can hold his blaster and staff well with both hands though, and could definitely give another figure a hard kick with his robotic foot, so he should be capable of holding his own in play battles. Another great thing about having this figure, is that the ranks of Saw's Jedha Rebel group have now grown to three, Moroff and Edrio Two Tubes being the others.
