Personal Observations
The Crimson Corsair! This character was first introduced in the story 'The Crimson Corsair and the Treasure of Count Dooku' as part of the build up to the theatrical release of The Force Awakens, and has since remained one of the most popular alien designs to come from the movie. Sidon Ithano is the captain of a crew of pirates, who fittingly, came in a two pack with his first mate Quiggold. Sidon and Quiggold are really nice looking figures, and considering how many new aliens were introduced in Maz's castle, we were lucky to get both this early. Sidon has the standard five points of articulation and has been sculpted to bring out all of the little details in his costume. If you pop off his head (no damage will be done to the figure) you can remove his cape allowing him to sit. He has quite a bit of a lean when he sits, but he should be able to pilot some vehicles. A word of caution though when making him sit: the raised details on the lower parts of Sidon's tunic will be damaged and paint will be scraped off when they go up under his belt. Sidon comes with his blaster, which sculpt-wise looks accurate to photos of the film character, but unfortunately does not have the paint details that would have made it look even more accurate. There is also another blaster in a holster on his belt, but for some reason, probably cost, this blaster was not made to be removable. These little problems aside, Sidon Ithano is still a really nice looking toy who should be favorite in any young Star Wars fan's play adventures
