Personal Observations
Now this is a great figure! This is the third version of a basic Imperial Stormtrooper in the 5POA line, and he is easily the best. I didn't think the Saga Legends Stormtrooper from a few years ago could be topped, but at least from my point of view, this one is superior. You can see these two Stormtroopers compared in the last photo above along with an animated style Stormtrooper from Star Wars Rebels. This Rogue One Stormtrooper has a fantastic sculpt, holds his blaster well, has sharp paint details and sits perfectly. I have to say, I am really impressed by how well this figure sits! He should be able to pilot just about any vehicle that is made to accommodate 5POA Star Wars figures. The Stormtrooper also comes with a few additional armor pieces, which sadly, don't work quite as well as I hoped they would. If you look at the Stormtrooper from the right angle, they don't look too bad when he's wearing them, but they are just too bulky for my liking. But maybe some kids will get a lot of fun out of them, and if so, they are a worthwhile addition. Overall, this figure is one of the best since the 5POA line began in 2013, and is definitely worth picking up for someone who loves to play with Star Wars action figures.
