Personal Observations
Tasu Leech is so far only one of two villain figures to come from the confrontation with Han Solo/ rathtar chace scene in The Force Awakens, the other being the Guavian Enforcer. Tasu is the leader and sole figure to date from Kanjiklub, a criminal gang that is trying to force Han Solo to repay an overdue loan. It's too bad that so far he doesn't have any other gang members to lead or a rathtar monster to run away from, but the good news is that Tasu himself is a really nice looking figure all on his own. Tasu is one of the better sculpted and detailed figures in The Force Awakens line. He comes with his blaster rifle and a buildable weapon piece (not pictured above). There is also a blaster pistol sculpted into his holster, which seems a little odd, as this would have been a nice accessory to have. Unlike previous 5POA figures, Tasu's skirt/apron...whatever you want to call it, is an extra piece of plastic covering his upper legs, rather than being sculpted as part of his legs. I admit it looks better not having the split skirt, but the problem is that the figure can barely sit. Another issue with this figure is that he has some trouble standing. It's too bad that there are these little problems, because Tasu Leech really is a nice looking figure. One more thing about this guy: he's really small! As you can see in the last photo, he's quite a bit shorter than Han. You may not notice it when watching the movie, but the actor who played Tasu isn't a very tall man, so it turns out that this figure's height is actually very accurate!
