Personal Observations:
The TIE Fighter Pilot was a figure I wasn't sure I would buy at first, thinking that it might be better to hold out for a movie version. But I bought him, and now he is among my favorites from the TV series. His sculpt is just how he appears in Rebels, he sits perfectly, and his paint job, while simple, is really very nice. His ability to turn his head is limited, due to the hoses that connect to the helmet, but that's expected. The hoses also get in the way of his arms a bit when you want him to aim his blaster, but with a figure with 5 points of articulation, there's really not much that could have been done about that. This really is a great figure, and is about as perfect as it could get for a Rebels 5POA TIE Fighter Pilot. Another great thing about this guy is that if you want to build your Imperial forces, the TIE Fighter Pilot and the Stormtrooper make up the perfect Mission Series two pack. Even for a non-army builder like myself, that's a set that's hard to pass up. Now, if only there were a Rebels TIE Fighter for him to fly in! I guess the Inquisitor's ship will have to do for now. |
