Personal Observations:
Wookiee Warrior was an unexpected figure in this line, but overall, is a decent one. In a Star Wars figure line that mostly consists of main characters and troopers, the inclusion of such a minor character is a rare occurrence. The Wookiee Warrior does look nice though, and seems, at least to me, even more reminiscent of the original Kenner Chewbacca than even the Mission Series Chewie does. He is a nice, rich, shade of brown with some lighter shading added, and surprisingly, his head can turn, if only just a little bit. He sits well, but since he is so tall, it's going to be a tough squeeze to fit him into many vehicles. Neither wookiee in this set comes with a weapon, but since they were prisoners in the Rebels episode, it makes sense. He still has a lot of play value though, with fists ready to grab someone else's weapon, or clobber a Stormtrooper with his bare hands. This is a fun figure, even if he is an anonymous 'nobody', and is definitely a great addition to the modern 5POA collection. |
