Personal Observations:
This is our second prequel Yoda in the 5POA collection and third overall. So far, each of them has been a good figure, but this one just might be the best. Unlike the previous prequel Yoda from 2013, this one is sculpted in more of a relaxed pose rather than a ready for action look. He looks like he is best suited to tottering around the Jedi Temple or giving orders to padawans and Clone Troopers. But because of this figure's unique style of articulation, he also works pretty well for battle. Unlike the average 5POA figure who has swivel shoulders and hips, Yoda's shoulders have an extra hinge, allowing his arms to not only move up, but out. His legs don't move at all, but he has a swivel waist and ball jointed feet. Yoda holds his accessories well, which is always a big plus, and the lightsaber itself is a much nicer looking sculpt than the one that came with the previous prequel Yoda. It's kind of too bad that Yoda couldn't come with his Jedi council chair, but since he can't sit anyway, we will just have to pretend that he likes to stand to when he discusses grave matters with his fellow Jedi. Overall, this is a great figure and is a long awaited, but very welcome, new prequel figure in the 5POA collection. Can you believe we went two years between prequel figures? Hopefully there's more to come from the prequels in the near future.
